Technology classification for canned vegetables
There are three types of vegetable preservation technologies:

    • Mechanical preservation techniques include freezing, drying, compression, and grinding.
    • Chemical preservation techniques, including salts, sugar, acids, pasteurization, and ionization.

The primary technologies used in the production of canned vegetables


Several types of canned vegetables are distinguished based on their preparation method:

    • Organic in its juice.
    • Thermally treated.
    • Salty.
    • Preserved.
    • Marinated.
    • Reused.

Natural canned vegetables with minimal processing


This type of canning includes vegetables that have undergone minimal processing to retain the maximum amount of nutrients and flavor.These include canned green peas, sweet corn, beans, tomatoes in their juice, and other vegetables. This category also includes frozen and dried fruits and vegetables. Vegetables and fruits are frozen for long-term freshness and quality preservation and dried at a low temperature to preserve nutrients and flavor.

Snack food that has been heated


These are canned foods that have been heated to preserve them. They come in a variety of textures and flavors and can be made from a variety of vegetables. Sterilization, heating, and packaging in airtight jars may all be part of the preservation process.

Pickled vegetables


Pickled vegetables are a type of canning that uses salt to keep vegetables fresh and prevent bacterial growth. This method of canning is used for a variety of vegetables such as cabbage, cucumber, radish, pepper, etc.
The process of salting vegetables begins with pre-treatment of the vegetables, after which they are placed in jars and filled with a salt and water solution. Spices and other flavoring ingredients are added too.

Processed vegetables


Canning utilizes vegetable processing methods such as sterilization, pasteurization, drying, salting, cooling, and so on. Dried or frozen vegetables, concentrated purees or pâtés, and canned vegetables are all examples of processed vegetables. This method of preservation allows you to keep the beneficial properties of vegetables for a long time, allowing you to use them at any time of year.

Children's vegetable food


Children's vegetable food is not a common type of canning, but rather refers to canned or mashed vegetables for children. These products can be made from a variety of vegetables and natural ingredients, with no preservatives or artificial additives added. Children's vegetable nutrition is high in nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, and it supplements the composition of the children's diet for growth and development.
